LCF volunteers enjoy time outdoors and learn about local ecology while supporting our important mission. You can help improve trails, plant native trees, remove invasive plants, or count mussels, among other tasks.

Volunteers also work behind the scenes on special events, social media, graphic design, and our website.

Many LCF volunteers are East Central Illinois Master Naturalists. LCF has also worked with the Monticello High School FFA and other local high school and college organizations.
