About the event

In the first event of our "Art and Nature Entwined" series, come to listen, share and experience nature through the written and spoken word. Led by Mary Hays, attendees will be invited to share meaningful poems or short pieces of literature, if desired. Next, we will embark on a short hike with an opportunity to write down our experiences while enjoying the surrounding landscape in the evening light. Notebooks and writing utensils will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own foldable chairs. This will take place in the woods; please dress and prepare accordingly. Sign up by emailing ericmollahan@landconservationfoundation.org. Rain date: Sunday, August 2, at 6:30 pm. Made possible by a grant from the Dale and Deborah Smith Foundation.
