Retreat to the woods on a 2.3-mile hike of the Bruce Hannon Levee Trail. We'll share donuts and coffee first (bring a travel mug), then Ryan Pankau will lead us in learning about tree identification, floodplains, and more. If the weather is questionable, check here or on Facebook for updates.

About the event
Retreat to the woods on Black Friday for a hike led by Illinois Extension's Ryan Pankau and explore the wonders of the Sangamon River Corridor Reserve. We'll complete the 2.3-mile hike of the Bruce Hannon Levee Trail and learn about tree identification, floodplains, and more.
We'll enjoy coffee* and donuts before we embark on our hike, and we will be joined by LCF’s new Executive Director, Eric Mollahan. *Please consider bringing a travel coffee mug.
